The Guinness World Record for the World's Biggest Ugly Christmas Sweater Party was set in 2015, with 3,473 people wearing an ugly Christmas Sweater. The Mesquite Outlaws believe our fans have more holiday spirit, so we’re going to try to break the world record at our Dec. 21 home game against the Kansas City Comets. To be counted in the tally, fans must wear sweaters with clear Christmas or Hanukkah themes – not just green or red colors.

Every fan who buys a ticket to the Dec. 21 game will receive an early Christmas present from the team: a free ticket to the Jan. 4 home game vs. the Tacoma Stars. That game will also be Bring-A-Friend night for season ticket holders, who will receive extra tickets in the mail so they can bring a guest to the game for free.

The Mesquite Outlaws are excited to partner with the Mesquite Police Department’s Santa Cop program, which benefits local families. Fans are encouraged to bring toys to our office in the Mesquite Arena through Dec. 20, when Outlaws players will help wrap the gifts with Mesquite police officers. Outlaws dancers will assist the police department in handing out the gifts on Dec. 21, and families who benefit from the Santa Cop program will join the Outlaws at the game that evening. Fans who bring a toy will receive a coupon for 20 percent off Outlaws merchandise at the game.
