MESQUITE, Texas (January 14, 2024) – Texas Outlaws won 5-2 against the Dallas Sidekicks at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas. The Outlaws are now 6-3-1 and the Sidekicks are 1-8-0. 


The game in Allen started with a scoreless first quarter, the Sidekicks outshooting the Outlaws 4-2. In the 6th minute of the second quarter, Jorge Deleon scored for the Outlaws, with an assist from Lucas Ramalho. Erik Macias put the Outlaws up by 2 in the 10th minute, unassisted. Gustavo Piedra got the Sidekicks on the board with an unassisted goal in the 13th  minute. The first half ended with the Outlaws up 2-1.


In the 3rd quarter, Luiz Morales scored the 11th minute with an assist from David Ortiz. Outlaws up 3-1 going into the final quarter. Vini Dantas scored in the 3rd minute of the 4th quarter, unassisted. The Sidekicks quickly countered 30 seconds later with a goal from Colin O’Keefe. In the 4th minute, Blas Perez was issued a blue card for 4 fouls in a half. In the 6th minute, Dantas scored again while the Outlaws were on a powerplay, assisted by Jorge Deleon. Outlaws winning 5-2.



The Texas Outlaws will be taking on the Milwaukee Wave for First Responders Night on January 25th at Mesquite Arena. Kick off for the game is 7:05 pm CT.
