TEXAS OUTLAWS SHINE BRIGHT IN MASL USA VS. MEXICO MATCH
MESQUITE, Texas - The Texas Outlaws are proud to announce that two of the squad’s players, David Ortiz and Sebastian Mendez, were selected to represent the MASL’s USA team, and showcased their exceptional talents in the recent USA vs. Mexico match on September 10th at Toyota Arena in Ontario, California in front of a packed and passionate crowd.
This highly anticipated rivalry match was a thrilling exhibition of the top indoor soccer talent from both nations, USA and Mexico.
Amidst the electric atmosphere, the two Texas Outlaw players representing the USA, Ortiz and Mendez, were standouts during the match, demonstrating their skills, determination, and impact they had on the match outcome, resulting in a win for the USA, 6-5.
Sebastian Mendez, a fan favorite known for his quick and energetic personality on and off the field, lived up to his reputation as a game-changer. Mendez scored the game-winning goal for Team USA, with an assist from 2022-2023 MASL MVP and Tacoma Stars player, Nick Perera, making the final score USA 6 vs Mexico 5.
The Texas Outlaws' General Manager and Sporting Director, Brad Namdar, could not be prouder of both Ortiz and Mendez, “ I am very proud of all the players for Team USA, as well as our Texas Outlaws players who were instrumental in the victory over Mexico. The Outlaws are looking strong heading into their upcoming tryouts and pre-season training in the coming months, and the team’s new energy is contagious.
