Mesquite Outlaws Welcome Back Darren Mitchell for Upcoming Season

The Mesquite Outlaws welcome back midfielder Darren Mitchell for the 2022-2023 season. Per team and league policies, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Mitchell is from Scarborough, Trinidad and Tobago. Mitchell’s previous experience includes playing for the Trinidad and Tobago Pro League and in Guatemala for Liga Nacional Apertura. He also played against Belize and Peru in 2013 and against Barbados in 2017 for the Trinidad and Tobago National Senior team. Mitchell has been a Trinidad and Tobago pro league winner three times and a Caribbean Club Championship winner twice.

This will be Mitchell’s third season in the Major Arena Soccer League and his second with the Mesquite Outlaws. Previously, Mitchell’s playing status was delayed due to pending visa and league approval.

When asked about his signing, Mitchell said, “I am excited to be back! We are going to have a strong team this season.”

“I have some unfinished business and can’t wait to take the field next month.”
